White bump on my gums and other problem?

I have a white bump on my gum all the way at the top. It’s painless and it looks to be filled with liquid. It hasn’t bothered me. I don’t even know how long it’s been there. And the reason I discovered was because I was eating and some food went up there and i went to get the food away and found it. Do you think it’s a cause for concern? I’m 14 weeks pregnant and I don’t want it to affect the baby. I have a tooth on that side that is dead and I need a root canal on it but the dentist will not perform a root canal on me. Do you think that could be the problem? I went to the dentist and they said that i had an infection that I had spread through the tooth so they gave me antibiotics and sent me to a specialist and he looked at the xray and said that I didn’t have an infection. I’m so confused.
