What can I do about the pain?

I just had a root canal done a couple hours ago and I am back at work. The dr told me to take some tylenol for the pain bc I’m pregnant so I cant really take anything else. But tylenol does nothing for me. I’m not looking for other medicine to take but other pain releiving methods. How do I know if to use ice or heat? Is there any acupuncture spots I might can hit to help? The numbing is about to go away so I want to get ahead of the pain i know i’ll have in my gums.

Depending on the tooth, acupuncture can help, but the location can vary. In pregnancy, you can tylenol with codeine. Check with your OB regarding pain med options. Ice is best for now through tomorrow. Then switch to heat.

I work for a physical therapist and I suggest you use ice to numb the pain and for swelling. Other then that it’s pretty much it. You’ll get through it!

Ice would be best to numb the pain. As for other pain relieving methods I think the best way is to sleep.

    Try Oil Of Cloves.

Go to the supermarket, you rub it on the affected area.

Its a natural remedy that always works!

If you can safely take it, IBUPROFEN. Call your ob/gyn to see what is the highest, safe does you can take then take it regularly for the next day or so. It helps w/ inflammation.

i would recommend Ib prophin, this will soothe the pain and ultimately make you feel at ease. Believe the pain is intense, this I know believe me. But try that supplement and see if it works out for you, you should feel better ina couple of days if not less, using ib prophin. Hoep I helped:)
