Is it normal to have novocaine when getting your teeth cleaned?

I have never in my life heard of anyone needing Novocaine when getting their teeth cleaned, until I met my friends boyfriend? I’m sorry but I think this is just crazy! This man takes morphine regularly for back pain and is on disability but now I am starting to think maybe something is just not right here!
Yes they do, and the only reason I asked this question is because I am really beginning to think this man has a dependence for pain killers.

How do I get my dog to stop chewing on wooden furniture? She is not teething?

The vet says she has all her adult teeth. She has chew toys. Lots of them. She chews rawhide and real bones from Petsmart. She is exerxized and kept in a crate while we are away. She just started this chewing on furniture. She has good dog food, is exercised and well fed. Will buy Sour Apple spray tomorrow although I don’t have high hopes. Help!

i know its burbon, sugar and mint, but what else and in what order? mint julips are my fav and not a whole lot of resteraunts server them so i want to make it at home.

can someone tell me what sickness i have? Symptoms are a sore throat, extremely swollen gums that bleed?

So i got a sore throat about 5 days ago, and my gums around my teeth started to swell and bleed when i brush them. I had a fever for the first few days but it has gone away but comes back every now and then. My back right bottom molar is almost half covered by swollen gum, and my throat is in terrible pain. I went to the doctor two days ago and he prescribed me amoxicillin in case it was a bacterial infection, but the antibiotics haven’t worked a bit and since taking them the gum tissue has only gotten more swollen and puffy. The sore throat is the main issue however, and im wondering if it is just a really nasty viral infection or if its just something else. also, should i keep taking the antibiotics? If it is a virus of some sort, how long does it take to go away? it really *****.

What happens when pus from a gum abscess is swallowed?

I had an pus filled abscess yesterday morning when i woke up and then at about dinner time it drained itself without me even realising so obviously i swallowed it and didn’t even notice.

which brands of pads are better or are tampons better?
I use carefree but I was wondering if there are any other ones that are more comftorable? or should I use tampons? or am I too young for them. I haven’t even gotten my period yet
I’m not using them yet I just have the pads incase. I’m not using them but I have them incase. I was just wondering. I don’t have tampons. I was just wondering.

Are the extra ticket options at disneyworld worth paying for ?

At Disneyworld you can pay for the “Park Hopper Option” and “Water Park fun and more” option. Considering I will be there in December 08 are these options worth paying extra for ?
