Swollen gum in the back of mouth?

On the bottom row at the very back of my mouth one side of my gums feels pretty swollen up and it hurts. When I bite down I can feel my upper teeth sinking into the lower gums. My teeth are fine and so are the rest of my gums but just this back side hurts. Can anyone tell me what it is and what I need to do?
It is right behing my last tooth.

dentist said teeth maybe removed, yet i have no pain….on either gums and teeth….i would like to know what can stregthen my teeth. thank you.

Do oral surgeons ever put people under for wisdom teeth extractions?

I have to get my wisdom teeth out soon, and I want, nay need, to find an oral surgeon who is willing to completely anesthetize me. Just the thought of needles anywhere near my gums makes me start crying and shaking. Do oral surgeons ever completely put people under, or am I **** out of luck?
The two oral surgeons I have talked to say I will be heavily drugged, but not completely unconscious.

Bump Inside my mouth?

Hey everybody i have a bump on the bottom right side of my gums and kinda touchin my cheek and it has been there for about a week now and it only hurts when i move my mouth a certain way and even then it doesnt really hurt that bad…umm i pressed on it and it is kind of hard not too hard about the way our gums feel…..it isnt red or anything it is the same color as the rest of my mouh…im getting kind of worried and i was just wondering if any one knew what it was or has ever experienced this….Your answers are greatly appreciated and God Bless!

How can you reduce gum swelling effectively?

It seems that when I eat saltier foods they swell up the night of or the day after. However, an assistant from the ortho said salt is good for cleansing the gums?

I also got my braces off a few months ago. I still wear my retainer, that seems to make the swelling occur too.

i just went to the dentists and they told me i have 3 cavities. so we scheduled an appointment in 2 weeks so i can get my fillings. i would really appreciate if you could please tell me the exact proccess of what the dentist do to you. like, do they begin with the novacain shot? where, in your gums? cheek? like exact details. i am only 13 and im really scared, fear of pain and fear of the unknown. so please tell me what the dentists do to you! and if it hurts.

Does wearing braces make your teeth look bigger after you’ve taken them off?

My friends and I were looking at pictures and noticed that the people who previously had braces looked like they had teeth that were bigger than those that didn’t. Does wearing braces push your gums back?

Will that mess your teeth up? I was ******* on Vitamin C because I’m kinda sick and when I swallowed it, my gums were bleeding a little and I had a dent or hole in my gum. My teeth kinda hurt too, what happened?
I’m clearly a brunette! And I don’t take Vitamin C so that’s why I didn’t really know.
Yeah I did take the chewable ones. Why is everything healthy unhealthy now a days?

hurting tooth that is brown at the gum line?

I have a canine tooth that has been hurting & is slightly brown at the gumline. My gums been bleeding a bit could the blood be doing this or what could it be totally lost. Thanks for any help.
