Can dentist fix gapped front teeth in adults and what is the procedure?

Does any insurance cover getting front teeth with a gap taken care of ? And what do the dentists usually do with that type of situation ? Do they put on only a brace for the front teeth or is it to late when an individual is older? What is the usual span of how long it takes for the procedure to work?

I had a molar tooth that broke this weekend and I dont believe in root canals and I seriously doubt that it could be fixed with a filling. I just want to try to make sure I have enough money to have it done before I go to the dentist tomorrow.

My husband’s wisdom teeth are causing a lot of pain. He really needs to have them out but we don’t have dental coverage. Is oral surgery covered by regular insurance or is it included in dental? We have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and we pay for it out of pocket.

I know someone who thinks they need to be seen by a doctor asap b/c they have some signs of mouth cancer, but they dont have heath insurance. When is a good time to worry????

Swollen gums from wisdom teeth?

I have all my wisdom teeth and they’ve never been a problem so far, but I woke up this morning and my gums were so swollen, I could barely open my mouth. I have a sh*tty insurance plan and the dentist can’t see me right away.
1 CommentIt hurts so bad, I can’t eat and can barely swallow liquids. I was thinking about putting something like lidocaine on it until the dentist can get me in, but I don’t know if it’s safe for inside your mouth. Is there anything I can use to make it numb?

the top of my left side of the dental gums are slightly swollen and has a little cut, hurts a lot when i brush my teeth

i would go to the dentist, but it’s the only problem i have, my teeth are clean, went to the dentist 10 months ago when i was still in my mom’s dental insurance, but right now i don’t have dental insurance and we all know how much those bills can be, if it gets real bad i will definately go, for now i can try whatever is adviced

My dentist said I have a bony growth on my lower gum, exostosis, is anyone familiar with this?

He reffered me to an oral surgeon–however I do not have insurance at the moment so I cannot do that. He said I should have it removed because it has grown within the past 2 years. I had actually forgot about it unil my exam. It is not painful–Its just a bony lump on the outer part of my bottom gum.

Non Impacted Wisdom Teeth Removal?

All 4 of my wisdom teeth are non-impacted. I’m going to have 2 of them removed soon. 1 of them is kind of chipped in the back, but the majority of the tooth is still up. I’m sure they’re both pretty rotten.
3 CommentsMy question is, will they be able to remove these teeth with only local anaesthesia (novacain shots)? Will they have to cut into my gums and remove bone? I dont have dental insurance, and am trying to have this done as cheaply as possible.

I know someone who does not get free state dental care and doesn’t make income enough for insurance. Her teeth are rotten into the gums and it isn’t from drug use so please don’t assume. Am trying to think of a plan to get together with others to pay the dentist but not let her know. She is in constant pain and has abcesses. Location is MIssouri.
